Army rotc vs. going enlisted in the army?

Ok. Ranger, and Airborne school are Special Forces. Just like MARSOC, SEALS, And Para-Rescue.

Yes, it is very competitive because they want the best of the best. You will have to ask your recruiter if you can take the school later in your career. If you see combat varies.

Some people see a ton of combat, and some don't see any. But most likely you will see combat. Personally, I would go enlisted, then go to school while you work.

Get your bachelors, and go to officer school. The Army has a program called "Green to Gold" I'm not 100% sure what it is but it is for enlisted to become officers. I was thinking about going to ROTC and doing college and then go to OTS in the Air Force because I want to be a pilot.

But I would rather go to the Air Force, work a job, and go to school. Then go to OTS and try and get a pilot slot. You have a better shot at becoming Airborne or a Ranger than I do becoming a pilot.

Good luck man! Edit: Yes, I'm wrong. Rangers are not special forces.

Green Berets are. But the Seals, and Para-Rescue are.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
