There are so many misconceptions about astrology, and everyone's opinion is based on what they know (or in this case, what they do NOT know) about it. Astrology is not the same as a horoscope that you read in the paper or online. Horoscopes are hokey, and rarely hit the mark.

I absolutely do not believe that astrology determines a person's life or personality. It isn't about that. What astrology CAN do is provide some clues.

For example, try to remember the last time you had a communication breakdown with your mate or co-worker. Or that time when your travel plans got messed up, or your internet or phone connection went screwy. Odds are high that those incendents happened when mercury was retrogade.

Moreover, astrological charts take into consideration much more than just your date of birth. The time and year are just as important to determine a person's rising and moon signs, along with all of the planetary aspects within their houses. And these are just the basics of putting together a chart.

There are "professionals" who use computer generated printouts to create someone's forecast; however even these miss out on some critical information. True astrology is an ancient tradition in my family; going back to before the first settlers arrived in America. To answer the question, who do I go to for astrological advice? My mother, as she has had many years of extensive study of the subject; whereas I have only begun to touch the surface of what astrology is.

Astrology has been pretty conclusively disproven. It says two things:1) your life will be determined by your date of birth2) your personality will be determined by your date of birthAll you have to do is find two people with the same birthday and see if they're the same person with the same level of income and romantic success, and studies have been done countless times that say they're not. Plenty more studies have been showing that if you give a room of people a personality test, then give every single one the same prewritten answer, 80% will say it describes them accurately, even though the answer was identical for the whole class.

Certain traits apply to all people to some degree, and this is what astrologers do. Predictions are just laughable. Astrology was developed back when they only knew about 5 planets or so, meaning they're dead wrong anyway, even if planets did anything at all (which they don't).

On top of that the calendar has changed since then, so the dates don't coincide with the ones they established a few thousand years ago. So it's wrong in a number of ways, and has been studied and disproven. If you're interested in personality studies, I'd highly recommend either the MBTI system:personalitypage.com/html/info.htmlor the OCEAN systemoutofservice.com/bigfive/Both of these have had decades of research put into them, and they correlate with other research done later, so they're pretty solid ways of figuring people out.

Sorry to go on so long on this one, but astrology just makes me go crazy and there are other, scientifically accurate studies on personality that people totally ignore.

No. All the concepts of astrology are projections. If you take them in, they become true for you.

They become autosuggestions that will then become your experience. Otherwise, you are Infinite Spirit, free of such human nonsense.

I believe in astrology but all predictions of astrologer can not be true,we must be realistic.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
