Do you believe that a Super Mosque near the site of the WTC in New York City?

We have Mosques all over our City in UK and are not allowed to object even if they built it next door to you. They can do as they like because if you object you are classed as being Racist... even by our City Council. So white People cannot object to anything as regards these people.... this is our Country but you cannot defend it from these people doing all these things.... what does that tell you about democracy in your own Country.

I also agree to what you are saying, as 911 was a hideous and callous act to do to anyone. My Daughter lives in New York and my Grandson is in the Fire Service.... he spent four days looking for people in that hideous and very murderous attack on any human beings, and the thought of these people even contemplating putting up a Mosque right there should be refused forthwith without any discussions.

Well you know, terrorists are not normal Muslims. We still have freedom of worship in the USA. And a lot of Muslims do live around there.

A lot of Muslims were murdered on 9/11 too. I recall the reaction of my Muslim friends after 9/11. These were religious Muslims who came to the US to get away from terrorism and live peacefully.

These folks were real US flag wavers! The terrorists didn't care about that. So in principle, I see no problem with having a mosque near the WTC, as long as it teaches the anti-terrorist principles of Islam.

I MUST assume that any mosque in New York will be on the lookout for extremists, and will report them accordingly. As I said, extremists are not normal Muslims.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
