Do you find HubPages a good place to publish your poetry or other creative writing?

I posted two and got good feedback from one, then nothing for the other.

Having already posted them both on several websites already where even on a site without much traffic, the hit totals were much higher, I got the impression that HubPages probably wasn't the best place to launch poetry or fiction.

I think I've been realistically philosophical rather than happy or frustrated.

I am sorry to have taken so long to answere. To tell you the truth I just discover this section on my page.

I found HP fantastic and it is the truth. I made so many friends which I never dreamed of. I have read so many great hubs and learned such a lot.My writing and work gets so appreciated which again, I never expected.

When I have a problem I go to the forum and ask the question. Within the shortest of time I get help.

I have been on other sites but some I found very hard to work on.

I can only the best about HubPages. Thank you for asking me.

Well, I've hardly been here for 20 hours or so, but I find that the real poets, or those who appreciate poetry, are not here on HubPages. There was better response on Poemhunter and other poetry sites.

I will wait for a week or so,before I come to a conclusion whether to continue here or not.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
