Not really! The reason is that they use the "regular" dictionary. That is not a surprise to me.

Of course they could add this word to their dictionary but they apparently didn't! I believe Askville is VERY short staffed. They simply do not have enough "man power" for running the website properly.

It is absolutely useless for me because I use FireFox and it has an embedded spell checker. That works all over the website and not ONLY for questions! There is a way to get around that though.

I certainly do! I can't believe the spell check feature here - it's seems to be very lame indeed. It doesn't recognize even simple words.It's nearly useless and wastes precious time - time that we could use to answer questions!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
