Nice boss I’ve had bosses who definitely came from the dark side but now I’ve got the most mellow, calm, always smiling manager. He values all his employees and rewards us when ever he can. He makes sure he gives us all opportunities to expand our knowledge by providing new challenges.
Since I began working here, I have learned so much about my field that I am astonished how far I have come.
The Nicest! I have the nicest boss ever! He is the best!
I have worked for militarty and gov't contracts all my career (15 years) with a secret clearance working for bosses who are ex-generals. They were all tools and so difficult but I dealt and happily smiled while serving their egos. I have been working for a communications company now for 4 years and I absolutely love my job, love the company and love my boss!
He has become more like my mentor, my brother and prayer counselor for me. I never thought that I ever be so happy - I am grateful EVERYDAY! .
My boss is the greatest! I've had the same boss for 15 years, the entire time I've worked there. He was just moved into management about the time I was hired and was declared "head" of the newest Unit, which included me and 2 other males.
From the beginning, I was like the "little sister" and could get away with murder, it seemed. Now, he is like a father figure and has been through all my life-crap with me so understandingly it's amazing. He toes the line as far as he needs to as a manager, but when it comes to understanding life's little events that requires time off, etc., he is always accomodating.
He treats us all with respect and is just a great guy. I've seen some pretty terrible bosses in the workplace, and I'm so thankful I don't work for one of them! He's planning on retiring this year, and it will be a great loss.
I'm spoiled, so uless I get HIS job (fingers crossed) it is just going to be a let down to have to work for someone else.
My boss is hard to work for, we've butted heads more than once. He expects me to know what he wants done, with little or no explanation from him, almost like I should read his mind. He is quick to place blame, and slow to show appreciation.
And yet, in spite of his faults, he has a good heart. He really does seem to care about me, in an odd, roundabout way. I chalk this up to cultural differences (he is from China).
I can't help to like the guy, in spite of our problems. I wouldn't call him nice, I wouldn't call him evil, I think "difficult" might describe him better. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
