OK, Here's the deal. If you live near a Ross than it is possible to buy a prom dress for ten to twenty dollars. I actually bought a beautiful white gown with an empire waist and chiffon overlay for 8.99 at Ross in Florida.
I think I bought the cheapest wedding dress in the world. Yes, it was perfect as a wedding dress. I also bought my cousin a brand new emerald green prom dress for 50 cents at a closeout store.
The truck had been in an accident and some articles were ruined, but this one is perfect and gorgeous.
If you live in LA try the Garment District by Downtown. They have quality stuff for dirt cheap! If you don't live in LA I'm sure your biggest city by you will have one any way :) There's always eBay and craigslist.
Peace!
Chances are your not from the Clinton Township,MI area, but if you are, there's a resale store called Once Again Bridal, sells lightly used bridal gowns and prom dresses on the cheap, got my daughter hers for 50 clams, she loved it and it fit. They also sew on missing sequences for free and do allterations for a fair price if not for free. There has to be a resale shop somewhere in your area like this one.
Good Luck!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
