Do you have Christmas decorations in your yard or on your house? If so, what?

Much to our neighbour's chagrin, we have a giant snowglobe as well as a lighthouse with Santa and Frosty leaning against it. We also have a Christmas tree on the front porch (decorated, of course) and a wreath. My husband wouldn't help me, so I didn't get garland put up this year.

I love in an apartment so all I have is my front door and inside my house But my dad has lights on the fence; a mini lit church; 3 mini lit trees; 2 mini lit reindeer; a Christmas character ferris wheel; faux giant bulbs around the ferris wheel; and 32 (or is it 34) inflatables; plus 3 inflatables in the front bay window; coloured bulbs in the walkway lamp; and an inflated archway with holly and nutcrackers on it. Plus the inside of the house is so full of decorations that you can't turn around without seeing a few dozen decorations.... Google Map View Larger Map .

We have some stuff.... Two inside trees, a lighted snowman, two lighted reindeer, a lighted outdoor tree, and two stars. What helps the effect is that this is basically a glass house so you can see the trees from three sides and the stars from two sides. Thrown in a reflection off the lake and we have a lot more Christmas light show than we actually put together... We owe it all to my wife's determination and drive.

I let Christmas sneak up on me this year.

Tis the season of the year to go nuts with celebration fever no holding back it's psychic ward ripe this feeling The urge is moving me to over load the states power company again! With my glazed eyes and Christmas music blasting I get to work, with in two hours I emptied the garage and unpacked my treasure now I’m ready to change the country side well my yard and house anyway! I start by setting up the three transformers and laying what seems like 20 miles of extension cable, I then grab my ladder and head for the roof to set up Santa and his sleigh with reindeer.

This year is special I found a new figure for my roof, Grinch , placing him in front of Santa's sleigh preventing him from taking off. The green pine garland is now surrounding all windows and doors highlighted with blinking lights between the windows I put the candy cane lights and the ginger bread men. The side walk I lined both sides with 3D lighted packages some that blinked and some were steady.

I have a natural pine in the front yard decorated with all possible and the same 3D packages surrounding it. The 8ft Santa and Frosty both air filled by blowers constantly working I set up by my mail box, have the have the left hand up waiving and Santa with toy bag slung over the right shoulder! Placed in various locations are the locomotive and cars with lights rotating as if train is in motion, deer with lights that make them look like they are jumping and elves on a moving teeter totter.

The nativity scene set up across from the pine tree just over the side walk! We all at Christmas time revert to our childish side of fun smell, tastes, especially sights and sounds. A time in which we all remember love to be at it’s strongest and the urge to give someone the perfect gift waiting with anticipation of watching their reaction and like wise in receiving with great anticipation for our gifts written weeks earlier on paper to Santa!

Who can fault us for going completely loony! Video There are some that make the most of the Christmas, I really enjoy watching this video! .

We used to put up over 80,000 Christmas lights. Poor health has forced us to cut way back but we still do what we can. We have LED icicles across the front porch that morph from color to color and gives the house a kind of carnival look.

We have a large Nativity set and one small (about 7 feet tall) tree covered in green lights and another in red. We have four of the air blown figures including a limited edition polar bear on a motorcycle with a penguin in his sidecar. We also have a big snowman, a penguin and SpongeBob sitting on a giant wrapped Christmas present.

Just a wreath This year, just a wreath, but my wife is planning on hitting the after christmas sales for some additional decorations next year. My 4yo daughter is telling me to do more for next year. They are thinking lights, wreaths, and a bunch of light-up yard ornaments..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
