Kelley - that is amazing. That is something new I haven't read yet. I will have to start trying that...maryrenee - i'm sure there are some patterns that start to develop... I can see some in mine.
Although I think you have to record your dreams on a daily basis for quite sometime until you can really analyze the patterns and draw any conclusions about their meaning...
Great question! I think dream diaries can be incredibly helpful. Not only are we able to record what we may forget, but it can be more than that.
We can look back and see if there are patterns, or similarities in our dreams. That helps us to draw conclusions that specific dreams may have significance. I'm so happy I keep a dream diary, it's awesome!
:).
Nope, but I should, my dreams have been freaking crazy lately...
I do, and it certainly helps me have lucid dreams. Another trick is to condition yourself into questioning whether you're awake or not throughout the day. If you get into a habit of seriously asking yourself whether you're awake or asleep, you'll eventually manage to ask yourself that question while you're dreaming. It worked for me, anyway.
I've lost count of the dream diaries I had kept. I have always been so fascinated by my dreams I started to keep a diary and record my dreams whenever I could. At the beginning they felt very random and senseless, with mysteries too deep for my conscious mind to penetrate.
But gradually, they started to make sense. The random dense jungle started to part their branches and show the clear path underneath. Gradually, I was able to discern different types of dreams and decipher symbols and meanings that's exclusively my own.
Nowadays, my dreams often give me very clear and unambiguous guidance. Often I might not quite understand the dream language upon waking, yet as soon as I put pen to paper, it becomes crystal clear with meaning. Good luck with your dream diary. It's a very worthwhile endeavor!
Ya I do have dream diary..i note what ever I remember..i have been keeping it since 3 months now..
Dream diaries are awesome!...u dream something and try hard to put it on paper..this makes you realise how realistic the life is and you know urself better. It makes you to take right steps in your life. It tells you to go that way and not that way.It becomes your life guide.
When you get bored, you open the lovely diary and recollect your dreams thats a awesome feeling..isnt it?
Yes actually iv had several. My dreams are wierd and demented at the best of times but I find compfort in writting them down and studdying them to make sense of it all. Im glad im not the only one out there who does it.

Not a diary. But more like a journal... I write in it whenever I feel like writing. I do not keep a regular schedule.
I want it to be very true and honest. I don't want to write on it just for the sake that I have to. Mostly it is about my thoughts about anything. My prayers, writing my concerns, my plans, how to lay them down and checking my progress along the way.
I also write about my thoughts about other people, events. Anything that feels close to my heart that I feel the need to write.
Yes. A sort of diary. It doesn't enjoy words on a daily basis, but receives all the deep, dark and inner...only when the time is right.
When my soul is bursting with uncontainable feeling. When my mind is confused and my face often streaked with tears.
That's when my diary fills up on words. It's hunger satisfied. My mind clearer.
And out of a mess, a stream of words make an appearance, that's when the date is saved...the inner let out and my heart is at peace.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
