Do you know how to fill that existential emptiness at your core?

My therapist says she can help me learn how to fill it myself. She says that when I learn to do that, a lot of things in my life will get better, including my marriage, and my job, and my sense of self; perhaps even my confidence. This is an emptiness I can never remember being without.

Sometimes I forget about it, when I am distracted, but usually it always comes back, and I feel like I'm missing something that everyone else has. So, have you felt it and have you been successful at dealing with it? Do you even have an understanding of what I'm talking about?

God can only fill this emptiness. I went to a counselor and she was New age, which is supposed to help you attract things into your life. I think it contacts the spirit world.

The emptiness is also a physical thing the brain is not working right. When my brain is working right.. I am not lonely.

I know it too well It gnawed at me for what seemed like forever. I tried to fill it with everything imaginable and then some. I was successful many times over, but it had to be refilled over and over.It seemed as though it was insatiable.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
