Brett Pedroia, the older brother of the Boston Red Sox second baseman and 2008 AL MVP Dustin Pedroia, was charged in January 2009 with two counts of lewd acts with a child under the age of 13 and two acts of oral copulation with a minor. Pedroia was released on $50,000 bail and a hearing is scheduled for Feb. 4, 2009. I do believe in the US justice system and therefore, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
That being said, it is particularly upsetting to hear about alleged crimes against children and if it is true, I hope he is found guilty. From what I read this morning in the Boston Herald and USA Today, it looks like it will be a difficult case to prove since crimes allegedly occurred in January 2004 and I would assume that any potential physical evidence would no longer exist.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
