Californians may be more prepared for a major Earthquake, than most others, simply because theyhave a history of serious tremors. Their emergency system is better equipped to handle the eventuality and their building codes take earthquakes into account. Now, if an earthquake of great magnitude hit the Mid-Atlantic states, say New Jersey, the results could be very very bad.
If a large earthquake shook Manhattan, look out!
Having survived the earthquake in the North East of Japan, the earthquake is the beginning of the problem. It leaves a devastation of other problems in its wake: fire storms in the Kanto earthquake of 1912 and more pertinent and recent, the tsunamis and damage to infrastructures such as nuclear power plants which create a significant impact upon the infrastructure itself. Not forgetting the control of disorder that may arise such as looting. In Japan their ingrained discipline and experience of these life shattering blows in the face of severe shortages of fresh food salvaged the possibilty of more damage and disruption.
The question is could the Americans act so gracefully or will they rely on their government to solve all problems...
First no one is prepare for God's actions we can only adjust to the problem.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
