Do you think you're smarter than the average person?

What is average for one may not be average to another. Some only obtain knowledge in a certain field, others have knowledge of life's lessons. I consider myself knowledgable in common sense.

While I have a college education in nursing, I still consider myself average. I don't put myself on a pedestal because I know things others may not; because they may teach me things I did'nt know.

Most of us will answer in the affirmative. Most of us will be wrong. The average IQ in the US is between 95 and 105 making it 100.

If we look at Congress one wonders whether 95 is really the low point. Lol My guess is that most of Congress would not pass the final exam for a high school GED. I also assume that most of Washington is unconversant with the US Constitution.

Our system is broken and I don't hold out much hope that Pres Obama, who will make a concerted effort, will be able to improve it. I support him and hope he can have some success for us average Americans. There appears to be plenty of A-Mur-A-Kinz who will help a certain political party...obstruct him, at every turn.

Yes. Observing other people has convinced me of that. Of course, if i'm wrong, maybe i'm so stupid that i've been ... ... drawing mistaken inferences all along -- but, if so, I wouldn’t be smart enough to figure that out, so i’d end up _thinking_ that i’m smarter than the average person, anyway, even if i’m not.

I KNOW I'm smarter than the "average" person. The "average" person has an I.Q. of 100. I peeked at my chart in high school and saw my I.Q. was 140.

Even if it's dropped since then, it wouldn't have dropped that much.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
