I have had my first plasma tv (an LG) for about six years and it is as good as the day it came out of the box with a picture comparable to most televisions today even though it is non-HD. The main set I watch is a 50" Samsung plasma which is about 2 years old-once again a fine set that does more than what is expected of it-this is a full-HD 3D set. Although screenburn (known as image retention) was a problem on earlier plasma sets and by a much lesser degree LCD sets technological advancements in the last six years has all but eliminated screenburn as long as care is taken in their use and the manufacturers guidelines are adhered to-most plasma sets have anti-image retention features built in anyway.
You can expect a good quality plasma display to last 100.000 hours or 17 years on 8 hours a day viewing.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
