No, cremation is just a way to deal with your physical remains after you die and has no bearing on your spiritual destination. If you are left out to the elements then you will most likely start to smell and animals will come eat you. If you are to be buried then a plot of land must be set aside to contain you.
If you are burned then all that will remain is a pile of ash. This takes very little space and can even be dumped somewhere like the ocean or placed in an urn. In some cultures burning is the preferred method of dealing with the dead.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
