Does everyone going through chemo lose their hair?

There are a variety of drugs used for chemotherapy, some of which do not cause hair loss. It will depend on the particular treatment received.

No it is absolutely not true, that every person going through chemo lose their hair. Our professor at college was diagnosed with cancer and he was on drugs for the last two years. But he had healthy hair.

Even we can't find any symptoms of having him affected from cancer. He was managing a normal life. But according to random research it all depends on the severity of the drugs and with which type of cancer a person is affected, shows whether he/she can lose hair.

Sometimes people affected with chemo have thin hair. While it is said that during the treatment of chemo if a person wear "cold cap" the hair would be unaffected. Thus it can be said that people react differently to different situations and treatments, there are so many drugs around, who knows which could result in hair loss.

No, I can assure you that not everyone who is having chemotherapy treatment will lose their hair. When I lived in England, I worked as an ambulance car driver for thirteen years. In that time I must have driven hundreds of patients suffering from cancer and receiving chemotherapy, to hospital for out patient appointments.

Whilst it is never pleasant to have chemotherapy, not that many of them lost their hair. There are a good few different types of chemotherapy and they do not all work the same way. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
