Yeah, I had that SAME problem and at times, I still do and I'm 21! I think what's best for you and what would help you out is to befriend a person or two, earn their trust and once you open up to them, you may be more social to more people? Even if you don't, having close friends will make you feel loads....better (: I was shy during school and its the one thing I truelly regret and still hate about myself.
Every year during elementary, I had classmates come up to me as ask why I never spoke which really bothered me. While enrolled in kindergarten, my mom had to actually show the teachers a home video of me talking because no one believed I could talk. They assumed I was mute I guess.
I even remember having my hearing tested a few times Every year that past by, I became less shy but still kept to myself alot. It wasn't until 5 or 6th grade until I really opened up. I met a great, reliable friend and that really helped me and boosted up my confidence (.
Pretend that your confident. Walk up to somebody and introduce yourself. You don't actually have to be confident in what you are doing.
Just pretend that you are. And eventually you really will be.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
