Automobile gas, not what the elves have decided. The Triple A came out the other day saying gas would hit $3 a gallon or more by June, at the latest. Does this tick you off a little?
A lot of people like to take a vacation and with the economy being what it is, they may have to stay home again this year. And this is one that can't be blamed on George W. Bush!
(And I'm no Bush lover, but just can't figure out how to blame him. ) Asked by OldppieHatesNewAV 21 months ago Similar questions: Recent Rise Gas Prices Bother Environment > Energy.

Yes and no. Yes, any price rise bothers me these days. But, no, I am not heavily affected because we drive a Prius.
Just returned from a 1,750-ish trip that cost a little more than $100 in gas...of course, in Texas, 1,750 miles probably only takes you to the nearest grocery store... :) OH, check out this link: gasbuddy.com/gb_retail_price_chart.aspx It is why most car buyers should be looking seriously at the Toyota Prius...as long as they are able to step on the brake pedal with their right foot, without touching the accelerator pedal. If they wear size 13+ boots and cannot contort their feet to avoid stepping on both pedals at the same time or if they brake with their left foot, then they should probably consider buying another car. PS: that is c7s’ take on the root cause of the unintended acceleration claims Also, I find Southwest Airlines relatively inexpensive.
Go to: southwest.com/travel_center/routemap_dyn... and let your cursor hover over the Texas city closest to you. Then check out the pricing for possible vacation dates. I believe if you are able to take a vacation to a spontaneous destination, you may be able to find a low fare on an online airline booking website.
OH, maybe you can give a talk in your field or attend a conference in your field that will allow you to tax deduct the trip? Try not to pick the conferences in San Antonio or Houston. You probably could use a meeting in Vancouver or Honolulu...
"as for blaming it on dubya, you can always accuse him of doing nothing to stop price fixing.
2 Of course it bothers me. We like to travel in our motor home to see all our kids and grandkids in the summer. The rise in gas prices make the trip very expensive for us.
Between us, my husband and I have nine grown kids and 17 grandkids. They live all over the nothern part of the country. The motor home is the cheapest way to see them all, so I guess we'll continue to do this, until the price of gas makes it impossible.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
