No, in worst scenario you could end up with a heat stroke, since your sweat and body heat will have a harder time getting away from your body. Always make sure that you have the correct clothes for cardio so you have maximum airflow.
I have no backround on this topic, but im going to go ahead and say NO. Pry a pretty bad idea. It will just make you sweat more, which does NOT burn calories.
You will just end up overheating. Even if you do burn more calories, its still a really bad idea to do it that way. If the sweat cannot evaporate off your skin then you remain too hot and heat stroke may occur.
