The math definitely adds up. The reason you are having trouble is you are only looking at half the equation. What Romney has suggested is that we lower rates while eliminating deductions and loopholes.

This will spur more growth and keep increase revenue. It worked for Kennedy...it worked for Reagan (Biden even voted for the plan) and it will work now.

Conservatives simply ignore this like it's some kind of political talking point. They need to focus for a second and realize what you're saying is correct. The math absolutely does not work under any scenario.

No matter how you approach it - Romney's tax plan cannot be implemented without increasing taxes on the middle class. This is not some ideological difference like Israel or gay marriage - this is real. The problem won't just go away.

If Romney is elected the rich will receive more tax cuts and the middle class will carry a greater tax burden. It's that simple.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
