You will be better marketable in many states if you also have a degree in a subject that makes you "highly qualified' to teach a subject. The concept is if you are doing remediation for special ed students you would have the knowledge base of a specialized teacher. Of those you listed Chemistry would be the hardest for schools to fill but English has the most courses across age groups.
Not every high school teachers sociology or psychology. I would say whatever interests you.
Hii, well as for me, I am majoring in EC-6 with a double minor in special education and sociology. With this certification, I am able to work as a generalist in elementary and a all grade level special education (including high school). Try talking to your advisor or any faculty from the College of Education at your school.
Good luck and great career choice! :).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
