When you are trying to install an older version of Quicken (ver 9 or prior) on your Windows Vista computer you very well may get the 1603 error if you try to use the standard setup. Exe installation file to install. In order to avoid this particular error, uninstall any Quicken that may have been installed before you got the error, and then put the CD into the CD drive.
Open My Computer and explore the Quicken CD. Look for the installation file: Quicken. Msi and double click to run this file instead to install.
Windows Vista works on different programming than Windows XP, which is what earlier versions of Quicken were designed for, however most applications have created two separate installation files, the *. Exe and *. Msi to help to counter installation errors.
The same issue can come up with other software that you are trying to install on your Vista computer. Just follow the same process, look for a *. Msi installation file, and run it instead.
The installation process is pretty much the same, but you should not get any install error if you use the *. Msi file to install your application.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
