Family inviting extended family to wedding and bridal shower.....very upset. Please read!?

Stick to your convictions. I too think it is weird to do that. If you come to the shower, you should be invited to the wedding.

I would honestly be furious about this and boycott the shower. I know she is family and family is forever...But if she felt this way she would invite all of her family to the wedding. It kind of seems like they want to have a cheap wedding but still get as many gifts as they can.

I agree with your mom, that is very poor taste. If you want to see the rest of your family that day, go to the shower...but don't bring a gift! If they can invite you to the shower but not the wedding, then they are only doing that for money purposes and that is selfish.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
