No, it isn't really that bad but drinking responsibly, especially if you are underage, does not include getting drunk. A small glass of wine or a beer with dinner at home with your parents when you're underage is a far different thing than going out and getting drunk with your friends.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
