From the link "The Pentecostal teaching that a believer can LOSE salvation has been a cause for great concern by believers for a long time." If you read the Bible, you would know that it is possible to lose your salvation. It is "once saved, always saved," that is falsehood.
"4 For it is impossible concerning those who have once been enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and become sharers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6 and having fallen away, to renew them again to repentance, because theya have crucified again for themselves the Son of God and held him up to contempt." (Hebrews 6:4-6).
I don't know. In my humble opinion, Pentecostals always seemed a bit strange, but who am I to judge? A couple nights ago though, a girl at this Christian camp began as they say "speaking in tongues," but I couldn't help feeling like something wasn't quite right.
I almost felt like she was...possessed or something. I just don't know. The article had interesting points, but as Christians we shouldn't judge.
Pentecostal isn't my first choice of a church, but I can't consider them evil or anything.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
