For the guys: is there any aspect of personality that would make a woman seem attractive to you if she's overweight and middle-aged?

Confidence is the most attractive feature any woman can have - at any age. Self esteem is an issue that affects women at every point in her life. If you feel good about yourself it will show.

Grown men are attracted to that. Men your age are believed to be distracted by their own concerns about age and virility. Some so much so that they become unpredictable and unstable like they were as a teen.

Mid life crisis it's called. Sexual attraction spans many arenas. Pheromones and nature play a part but good old fashioned "love" is the strongest aphrodisiac known to us.

Best advice is to deal with your ongoing health. If losing weight is an option (for some it isn't) and doing so would make you happier, then focus on that. Talk to a counselor about your concerns.

A healthy attitude towards the changes you're experiencing is the best remedy. A lack of hormones is fixable. Seeing your Doctor about it can result in some very effective hormone therapy to assist you through the changes your body will experience - if needed.

If you're happy it will show. Your natural aging and mature beauty will draw the right men to you. Not every man or boy is attracted to young, inexperienced, fickle young bags of adolescent hormone driven girls.

Don't sell yourself short. Your ability to feel attractive or not won't change whether or not someone is attracted to you but it can affect HOW attracted they can be if their interest is ignored in favor of your own worries. Take care of yourself, be the healthiest and happiest grown woman you can be.

The only thing youth has over age and experience is seemingly inexhaustible energy and that's not something I need at my age. I'd rather be with a woman who knows than a young thing with no head on her shoulders any day. I'd get tired of showing them how to do things right!
