Give me some tips on booking affordable flights from Toronto to Los Angeles?

Here is a great strategy that works well in Dallas. I don't know if you can adapt it to your use or not. If you can, try it.

DFW = Primary regional airport. LOVE = Secondary airport downtown Dallas. If I want to book a flight, I go to say Orbits ( doesn't matter, works on all of them I have tried.) Find the flight I like at the time I like from DFW to my destination.

Then search for flights at the same time departing from LOVE. I will get flights departing from LOVE but I also get flights departing from DFW. The flights departing from DFW served up on the second search will be the exact same flights as the first search found but they will be 15 to 20 percent less, If you have two airports, try it.

I would stay away from shermanstravel. Com, they used to spam me to no end back in the day when I had a different email account. I'd suggest travelocity.Com but the way to save money is to book your flight at least a month in advance.

The sooner you want a flight (say, if you wanted to book a trip to be somewhere for new years, it will cost you a pretty penny) the more expensive it will be. They offer cheap rates on flights that are over a month away in order to fill the plane up; as the departure dates get closer, the prices go up, because *every* plane is overbooked, because they rely on a certain amount of passengers not being able to make their intended flight.

I would recommend searching flights on ShermansTravel. Here's a quick link: quicksearch.shermanstravel.com/21/flights They will allow you to search information and click on suggested partner sights which includes orbitz, cheaptickets, etc. This way you can look at all of them without having to go to each site and enter your information each time so it's a bit faster. Just remember that most of these sites add an additional $5 to $10 to the fare from the airline so once you find the best deal, you can generally save the $5 to $10 by booking the same flight directly through the airline.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
