Haiti Earthquake Relief HITS US$2 BILLION today! How much has your favorite country given? And, is it enough/too much/just right?

My favorite country is Barbados which is where I come from at this point I cannot say how much money or assistance was given to Haiti but it was given. What happened to the citizens of Haiti was just heart wrenching we must remember that before the earthquake the country was devastated by hurricanes which their where still trying to recover from and then an earthquake of this magnitude. What has been donated so far is not enough, not to much or not to right.

The people in Haiti needs long term assistance or they will fall back into the impoverished state than before. The world community have to set a prolong stepped-up campaign to really assist the Haitians. And it is unfortunate that the government seems at a lost to really give the people hope for a brighter tomorrow.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
