Try" would be the wrong word. I've had to do it by accident several times, one in particular during a canoe trip without food for three days. We, as kids, foolishly thought we could live off the land and catch fish.
We did eventually catch fish, but I was the only one that ate them. The other two were averse to it because we also foolishly forgot to bring a knife, so there was not a convenient way to clean them; that, and we were mostly focusing on keeping warm in sleeting windy weather.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
