I took my mother to have this surgery. I can't tell you about the cost because her insurance picked it up, but many of these centers have payment plans available for those who have no insurance. Luckily, she has had no problems since then and was back to her regular activities, including driving by the next day.
She and I both, agree that it was well worth it. There may be a downside though, I have heard reports of some patients having to go back a number of years later to have it done again. The procedure is quick and painless though and significantly restores your vision.
I was maybe thinking about it but my eye doctor recently told me I already have a flat cornea so I am not a candidate, because the procedure makes the cornea somewhat flatter, so you might want to make sure you're a candidate before you give it any serious consideration. However there are some other procedures available, but they're more involved and cost more. I do however have a friend who had the lasik procedure and now he has perfect vision, and did not have any complications.
However depending on how bad your vision was before hand you will need to have it "touched up" years later. Make sure you research the doctor. Good luck.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
