Yes The book night is written by Elie Wiesel who is a survivor of the Holocaust. He has written many of books but this is his most popular. Made more popular by Oprah's book club.

Personally I like his memoirs better but thats me. He is a very inspirational man and one of my personal heroes. Right now hes trying to help bring awareness to the genocide in Darfur.

I would recommend this book but also his others go into more detail of his life and the Holocaust. Night is just very short. A brilliant work by Elie Wiesel Elie Wiesel was one of the multitudes of Jews who suffered the attempt of tlers Germany to complete the "final solution". He survived and ten years after his release he wrote "Night". It is a profound study of inhumanity.

I highly recommend this "autobiographical novel" (there is debate over just how to classify this work), and other works by Wiesel - he is a deep and profound thinker, and the world is better for his presence. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
