I want a diet book on cellulitis. Do you have any suggestions? I heard about a book called "Eat Dirt" or similar. My husband has cellulitis in the lower calf muscle.

It doesn't seem to heal all the way. I heard about this book on cellulitis. I'm not certain if it's a diet book or just a novel, but it seems to deal with cellulitis and a cure.

I know the book deals in going back to the basics and I'm pretty sure "Eat Dirt" is in the title. It helped this lady tremendously and she's had cellulitis for 15 years. My husband has only had it for two years. Anyway, if you could help me, I'd sure appreciate it.

I have had cellulitis several times in the past 15 years and I was hospitalized 3 times for it. Cellulitis is not something to be casual about, it is a serious infection of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. I have permanent scars on my legs from my most serious cellulitis attacks in the past.

My cellulitis has always been treated with antibiotics which usually cures the infection. I just had a recent run-in with cellulitis this past July and I was prescribed the antibiotic CIPRO for 10 days, which stopped the infection. I also have poor circulation in my legs which causes my legs to swell, this swelling is a perfect breeding ground for cellulitis, that is why mine re-occurs periodically.

I think your husband has the same swelling as I which breeds the cellulitis. Take him to a doctor to get antibiotics and have his leg swelling treated as well. Pressure socks or stockings are an easy way help keep the swelling down along with keeping his legs elevated.
