Im On it Now! So far so good, just stick to a low fat diet, or follow their diet plan, Im on a 1200 cal a day and 12% fat each meal, that is the easy part, I eat chicken, steak, chops and salad and veggies, yogurt and even bread. I also ride a bike 10 minutes 2x a day.Im 54 years young, I know you have heard all the horror stories, and believe me they are true, BUT those same people gorge on fried foods, fast foods and wonder why the Alli-oops visits them all day long, they have to take extra clothes to work, wear black (I don't know why it doesn't hide anything) and complain when they don't lose weight, so far IM down 12 lbs, and yes IM happy about that, I did see my MD prior to starting to get her OK and she wrote a Rx for a for orlistat 120 mg.

And a multivitamin, so it will be cheaper (other than a co-pay) verses $ 60.00 a bottle. I take a multivitamin every evening as they suggest doing, I plan it may take several months to a year to lose the 50-60 lbs, but I know I will succeed. Good luck to you, wanting to start a weight loss is the first best step.

I know its hard sometimes, I get the cravings for a juicy burger and all the fixings and ff, or a few pieces of pizza LOADED.. LOL, but as soon as get to my goal, I will reward myself once a week, but until then make fruit your friend, salad's become full of imagination. You won't miss the fat or the large portion size's. I feel fantastic, I have more energy.

Oh buy yourself a calorie fat and carbohydrate book, it will help you plan your meals when you know the fat count and calories. Best of Luck to ya. myalli.com/ .

I have had a couple of friends use this with great success. One lost 14 lbs in the first 9 days. I think its a pretty good pill, if your willing to follow the plan and make sure to keep your fat intake on the very low side.

Having said that....lets talk about AFTER you've lost the weight....how do you plan to maintain the weight loss? 98% of everyone who loses 50lbs + will gain it back and more within 2 years. You need to find a weight loss regimen that will help you life long.

YoYo dieting is not only unhealthy but a real mental drag=DEFEAT! If you lose the ALLI, make sure you combine it with a good eating plan, one that you can continue AFTER your done with ALLI. I have heard all the side effects of ALLI....l.

Every single DIET out there has side effects.....this is nothing new. I figure after you S%$# yourself a few times...you will "lay off the fat" People act as though this is the ONLY diet plan that ever had a bad side effect......There have been many...I could go into tons, when it comes to ATKINS..America's favorite.(terrible diet) I suggest you looking at the GI PLAN.....its awesome. Good food & lots of it!

Its a very healthy and tasty way of maintaining your weight loss. Also eat lots of fiber & drink tons of water. NO DIET SODA!

Did NOT try this and will tell you why. I looked at this product once in a GNC store. It was definitely being heavily promoted at that time by the store, a big display up front.

The clerk showed me the fine print on the information - it said the average person loses 4 - 6 pounds in six months. Unfortunately, as a doctor told me over 25 years ago, if diets and diet plans worked, there wouldn’t be a new one every month on the cover of every women’s magazine. The same is true of these "miracle" drugs, herbs, hormones, whatever.

If and when someone comes up with one that actually works, the news will spread like wildfire and the reviews will NOT be mixed. Weight Watchers works for some - I lost 50 pounds several years ago, but then went off program and gained it all back. Some have good loss with hypnosis.

Unfortunately, look at the fine print on ALL ads for diet plans/programs/pills where they show someone in "before and after" shots after having lost a lot of weight. There is invariably tiny print close by that says "Results not typical". I had a Weight Watchers leader lie to me (and the entire group) once and say that this remark meant that results are different for everyone, but, in fact, this could be expressed as "results may VARY"."Results not typical" means that typically (i.e.

USUALLY people do not lose this kind of weight with this product). So, I recommend looking at the fine print on a container of Alli - see if it still says what I saw several months ago - if it does, go spend your money on something else. Maybe an exercise video.

Even if you don’t lose weight, or a lot of weight, you will feel better. My doctor recommended some to me that are quite good for those of us (if you are like me) that you can do without equipment, at your own pace, in your own home. They are "walking" tapes by Leslie Sansone, but don’t let that deceive you, they give you aerobic exercise once you work your way up to the longest "walk".

Warning: After several weeks, I got REALLY tired of hearing Leslie talk, so I turned the volume way down and just followed her steps. As far as things you put into your body to help you lose weight, I think there may be some foods which can help with this. You really need an independent source for this, like an nutritionist or nutrition articles from peer-reviewed journals, NOTHING being hawked by anyone is going to be objective.

Here is a website I found on google which is "run" by nutritionists. It DOES hawk some products and I recommend staying away from those links but it has a lot of links that just talk about nutrition and foods full of fiber, etc., fast foods that aren't "too bad", etc. I searched Google for "weight loss nutrition" and noticed some other possible sites, like one from the NIH, so you may find some other really objective data out there too. Good luck!

It's a difficult battle - I have a lot more I should lose than you do. http://www.healthcastle.com/weightloss_nutrition.shtml Sources: personal experience, amazon. Com, google anniemdaffodils's Recommendations Leslie Sansone: Walk at Home - Walk Away Your Waistline!

Oh yes Be very careful with it. It opens your bowels up, a strong laxative. Don't take more than the suggested amount either.

Heaven help you if your not wearing a diaper or near a bathroom. Read the instruction carefully to avoid an accident.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
