Has NATO the military capability to open up a third front against extremism, fundamentalism and?

The military capability......yes! The political will.........not very likely. NATO as a political organization is dysfunctional to the extreme.

When the East Bloc dissolved and was removed as an immediate threat.....NATO lost the "focus" that had been it's reality for nearly 60 years. It has been floundering ever since.

Nato is going to cause the destruction of our planet if they aren't careful. Giving a group like nato say over who can have what is not only foolish but wrong. I personally didn't ask nato to take care of me and I bet if all the allied countries just left the middle east alone completely , they would in turn destroy themselves.

NATO has more than enough capability to do that but no political will at all.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
