The average conservative, just like the average liberal, is just a regular person. They do not condone violence against other people. They just want what is best for their family, their community and our nation.
I don't know anyone who wants violence against anyone to continue.
I now only vote GOP, when there is not a decent Libertarian, or Independent to vote for. My leanings are conservative. I'm far too busy on my farm, taking care of our goats and sheep, and hand sewing quilts for gifts for next Christmas to be bothered with picking up a brick and tossing it through someones window.
Yelling vulgar words is beneath me (unless a 2400lb draft horse is standing on my foot). I did take out some very nice stationary, and write Washington state's Attorney General a nice thank you note for joining the lawsuit against the forced health care. So did all the other voting members of my family.
He needs to know he's supported. I'd really like to know how many of those bigots are planted by the Democrats (a significant number I bet). Even if some of them are not plants, it just goes to show how angry this is making people.
They are loosing their cool, and yelling things in public they normally would not say. As for President Obama saying anything about bigotry....well that's pretty funny. He and his wife should follow that advice.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
