I'm going to withhold judgment on this one until it's a done deal, rather than rely on speculative sources. If what you say is true, and that's still a big if, then I would vote for Dennis Kucinich in the Democratic primary if he runs, and after he lost the Democratic primary, seriously consider voting for a 3rd party such as the Green Party for example. How is it we keep cutting taxes for the rich and then, when the budget can't be balanced, keep cutting services to the most vulnerable people in society who need it the most?
We used to tax the rich at 70% to 90% for most of the last century now they don't even pay half that.
The PPACA cut $500billion from Medicare/Medicaid and the only plan put forth so far that the president has shown anything positive to (the plan by the so-called Senate Gang of Six) cuts another $500billion from Medicare/Medicaid. Yet he tries to demagogue the opposing party for trying to make reasonable and responsible reductions.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
