A few times... I think it depends on the location and your personal preferences. If you are in a city or destination that offers a lot of activities outside of the room I do not think it is worth the expense. If you are going to spend the entire weekend in the room...go for it and have some fun.

I think it is definitely something worth experiencing once.

Yes and yes My rallying cry for a getaway has always been "Jacuzzi weekend! " so my answer is yes, I think it’s well worth the extra cost. One thing to consider is the hot tub room may not be just a standard room with a hot tub added.

Sometimes it has some additional amenities, say extra space with comfortable furniture, or a fireplace or similar additions. In that case, you’re getting a nicer room as well as the convenience of a private hot tub. Even if not, I still think it’s worth it.

I like to stay at hotels with indoor pools and they usually have a big hot tub in the pool area. Those are nice - deep, room to float, temperature controlled, lots of bubble action. But there’s often lots of other guest action, too, people popping in and out, kids bouncing around.

If you’re going to use the pool you won’t mind the inconvenience of going back to your room damp. If you’re only going to use the hot tub, it’s kind of a pain. Your own private tub, on the other hand, is quiet and, well, private.

You can control the temperature, you’re sharing it with only one person, who was invited on purpose, and you don’t have to wear any clothes in it. You can stay in it as long as you want and get in it any time you want. You can even take an actual bath in it.My personal preference is a tub in the room proper, rather than one in the bathroom.

Usually the bathroom ones are wider than a regular tub but not much longer, which isn’t good for stretching out. Also, the surroundings aren’t all that conducive to relaxation or romance. If the tub is in a section of an upgraded room it’s also likely you’ll have a roomier bathroom.

My only word of caution would be - if the hotel supplies those little bottles of bubble bath, don’t empty a whole one into your tub. :) .

Yes we have and I have to tell you the story! Our friends got us a room right after we were married because my husband is from Canada and he had to go back to Canada on Sunday. We were married on Saturday.

We spend Saturday night at a hotel with a hot tub and it was the first time I had ever been in a hot tub. My husband went to find some ice, so I decided to fill the hot tub. I cut on the hot water, forgot the cold, poured in some bubble bath and went to get the clothes out of the suitcase.

When I got back to the bathroom, bubbles were EVERYWHERE! My husband came in and laughed and laughed at me and then he stepped into the hot tub and almost burned his, well, almost burned it off! LOL I really enjoyed the tub once we got it cooled down and got rid of some of the bubbles, but upon getting out of the tub, I slipped and hit my knee on the spigot and I was black and blue!

It looked like he had beaten me. Hot tubs are ok, but I really do not want to pay the extra money for them. We enjoy each other's company, hot tub or not.

Oh, yes, many times! I have done this at a couple of different places. It is so fun to be naked with your guy/gal in the CLEAN hot tub.

There are no grimey germs from strangers and you can have a really good time, wink, wink! My favorite was an old historic hotel in Cheyenne, WY, of all places. The room had vintage furniture with hot tub a few feet from the great bed, and two bathrooms, which was great.

We covered every inch of the place, if ya know what I mean. Oh, good times! Another one was a theme based hotel, in Greeley, CO, where you choose any room they have, like jungle, Roman, 50's era, where the bed was a classic car, and many others.

Those are the ones I've stayed in and they were so fun. It is more fun, if you can afford it, to dress the part. WHOO WHOO!

Totally worth the extra cost, but I mostly did this for special occasions! Oh, don't forget the aroma candles, bath bubbles, and, should I dare mention, a camera? Keep the negatives to yourself, you don't want to end up on the internet, if you break up .

I guess I was a real horndog in those days. Oh, the memories! Just do it, if only once in your life.

Yes! It was totally worth it. There is nothing more romantic than an in the room spa.It gives a couple privacy to be as naked and as intimate as they desire to be.

I love a romantic bubble bath for two following by intimate and loving massages. Sex in the tub is great too. I'm going to have to check out your recommendation immediately because I'm getting excited just thinking about it.
