I haven't seen any fights personally in the stands, but have seen some on television. It's hard to tell whether alcohol was involved or not. But I know there is a large consumption of alcohol at times at sporting events and very rarely do any fights occur.. When they do occur, security is quickly there to remove those fighting from the arena.
If I could say for sure that alcohol was to blame for fights in the stands, then perhaps alcohol should be banned from the arenas. At the same time, from the teams business point of view, they make a large profit off of alcoholic beverages. Does the money they make outweigh the perhaps negativity of a fight?
The fight can cause some people to not want to bring their kids into that kind of atmosphere. But I am thinking it's such a small percentage of the time that a fight occurs that at this point it's a non-issue. Should the incidents of fighting increase, then steps need to be taken to promote a more family oriented atmosphere.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
