I have never felt that way about somebody because when I take the time to get involved with somebody I throw my whole heart and sole into the relationship. Still the guy I am currently with did make me feel like that at one point. I loved him a great deal and we were starting to discuss possibly taking the next step.
He was not really ready to get married yet, but it was starting to cross my mind. About a month after that he started pulling away from me and I started getting the feeling that I was just good enough for the time being until he found somebody new. After about another month I approached him about it.
I basically accused him of not loving me and just putting me through a bunch of crap to fulfill his desire to never be alone. He told me I was right and blah blah blah long story short we discovered it was actually a psychological problem that he was having with growing up. We finally got it figured out and now life is great (this is two years later) and I never feel like that anymore.
But it was a very difficult situation to be in at the time.
Yes, I've been on both sides of that scenario, and neither one was a lot of fun in the long run. Of course, people like to be in denial about it so it may take a while to realize you are not in a good situation. Then again, I've seen love grow.
I like to give things a good 'ol college try, at least try to get past the initial stage, since you never REALLY know someone until after the honeymoon phase anyway.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
