Help wanted:After six months on Hubpages no sales and not even a dollar a month through Hubpages?

How to Create Amazingly Delicious Smoothies That Boost Your Long-Term Health, Energy, and Physique! Staying Healthy Has Never Been So Easy! Get it now!

It's my feeling that many of the topics you've chosen are not the sort of things that draw strong audiences of readers and don't encourage lots of ad clicks or sales. Many of your Hubs have a strong personal angle and that doesn't perform as strongly when compared to a writing style that is more informational and instructional. And you're going to need a LOT more traffic.

I went and had a couple of your hubs which I enjoyed , one thing I learnt is to have writing at the top of the hub then a photo so you can have adverts at the top right section which is an important spot .

Also, I see you have had over 1000 viewers so I'm not sure why it's that low. I'm actually quite stumped. I'm going to add you and take a look at your content.

I am interested to reading more answers to this question. I'm new here and didn't even activate earning till after 5 weeks joining so I'm a little uneducated in the earning process. Best of luck finding answers.

I'm not surprised about Amazon; it takes rather targeting selling for that and is sporadic. You should definitely be earning from HubPages. Is it possible that you haven't activated the settings and done everything required on the Earnings tab?(hah!

Same thing the last person posted while I was typing).

I read your linguistics hubs (since I are one) and also find it intriguing that we've both spent much time in Asia.

I agree with relache. A have a couple of instructional hubs that do pretty well. I have far less hubs than you do, and am at about $1.35 for the month.

Try to write "evergreen" articles and look into SEO, which will drive traffic from search engines to your articles.

I take the point made about many of my stories have a personal angle that may not attract return traffic. But these are the ones that do get the most return traffic eg anything about India and English language.

I have done a variety of stories in an effort to find what works best for me. Unfortunately I'm not a craft or do it yourself kinda girl..so the how-to-do stories are not likely to happen.

I have revisited stories and changed amazone ads gone in at times and changed to see if that would make a difference..but no.

The traffic is slowly slowiy increasing but I figure there is something I am not doing.

Thank you all for your help..much appreciated.

I've been on here almost 2 years and I make nothing . If money is why you are here, I think you might want to rethink your priorities.

I am in the same boat as you. I have yet to sell anything either, not on Hubpages anyway. I have been at this even longer than you have.

This is my first month to go over a $1.00. I think stick with it, give it time and keep writing.

I had a look at the hub about blogging. I thought it was well written and had helpful information in it. I also thought the amount of ads to text was positive and relative to the topic.

I think you could follow more people, and they may follow you, comment on other hubs and they are likely to do the same.

I wish you luck, just stay the course. Most of the people who are doing really well have been around quite awhile.

(I wouldn't be too surprised about not selling anything thru Amazon yet. ). And it will depend upon how much traffic you are getting to each hub per day.

Wow I just started hubpages 5 weeks ago. I have made about $7. OO from hubpages .

I was hoping to be close to $50 dollars by my 6th month. I haven't made anything on amazon yet but I am still figuring out hubpages. .

I wish you luck.

Well: Dog food. Amazon products are slow cookers and dog toys. You need dog food products, natural dog food, and maybe dog food dish, recipe book for making dog food or dog treats.

Jello: Go for molds that are interesting, and jello recipe book. Get rid of Smoothies.

Products and links should relate to content of hub.

I recommend that you don't put all your eggs into one basket. Make a website too and start doing the same thing to the website that you did to your hubs except your website should be over 200 pages and contain pics and videos. Wait for 9 months after you start your website because there is a google sandbox that won't be lifted before then.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
