Monk fans! Do you find that you've become more "germophobic" since you started watching the show? I certainly have!

My family calls me "more Monkish than most". I take it as a compliment! Asked by Rickisgirl 56 months ago Similar questions: Monk fans find germophobic started watching show Entertainment > Television.

I love this show! Not "germophobic", but I definitely have something in common with Mr. Monk. I also like everything to be sorted, similar items stored together, in dedicated containers :-) Everything should be prepared, checked, verified, double checked, etc.. etc., etc. :-) :-) Same time, as Mr. Monk, I can see things from not standard angle, and I can find not standard solutions sometimes in area where I work.

Probably this is one of the reason why I like this show. I think "Monk" has unique sense of humor, "intelligent" sense of humor. It's done by very talanted people.

Everything (including light, colors, music) works so much together..

I think alot more about the things I touch. When shopping I'll definitely use the sanitizer wipes offered to wipe the hanles of the carts- when there aren't any I'm not "comfortable". Sources: me .

Well let me check some things. I got alcohol wipes in every bathroom (ok 1 for monk) mouthwash in every bathroom ( ok .005 for monk) antibacterial soap everywhere ( ok 3 for monk) wipes for wiping down the kitchen counters (ok 1 more for monk) Louie has just looked at me and informed me ( I can translate MeeOoooOooWwwwww brrrip) that I have been watching too much monk. And he suggested I start watching some mega movers shows on the discovery channel.

I have remarked to him that he is more monkish than I am cause he is constantly cleaning himself. He has just replied that he needs to be always prepared for TUNA. Well that is all that I can think of know excuse my typing cause right now I have to use some wipes on my keyboard kjdgvslkglsjgurewoihjlkdbldjflgjdglsjdgb :P Sources: my opinion with a little help from the brat CAT louie_cat's Recommendations Monk - Season Four Amazon List Price: $59.98 Used from: $25.88 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 50 reviews) Monk - Season Two Amazon List Price: $59.98 Used from: $29.74 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 42 reviews) Monk - Season Three Amazon List Price: $59.98 Used from: $29.98 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5 (based on 47 reviews) .

No, actually less! Sometimes I can show some pretty OCD tendencies in my everyday life, but somehow seeing Monk take it over the top and beyond anything in my mind...that makes me feel better. Makes me feel calmer.

And more normal too. If I can think that he shouldn't sweat the small stuff so much, somehow that thought transfers (everso briefly) into my own mind. Gotta love that show.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
