1 I love Monk! I have some of his habits - not O/C but a neatness freak. Love it.
Tony Shalhoub is such a powerful actor, so good at making Monk’s frailties and intelligence come alive. I still kind of miss Sheronda (wasn’t that her name?)--I liked her brassiness, but the new actress and her character are also beginning to grow on me. I like the glimpses into Monk’s past--the little flashbacks with his wife, the stories that involve his brother--sometimes I want to shake him, but I usually just wnt to gather Monk up in my arms and comfort him.
The mysteries are fun, too, of course. But, for me at least, they are very much secondary to getting to know Monk the man.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
