I'm 69 and love spicy food and the older I get the more I like it. I've just learned not to eat it more than 3 hours before going to bed (4 to be on the safe side) or I'll pay for it with acid reflux.
I didn't notice this at all. As soon as I retired, my tolerance for spicy food increased exponentially. Eliminating the stress, made it possible.
Now over 18 years later, I still enjoy hot and spicy foods. Probably more than ever before! Living near the Mexican border, and near an Italian restaurant makes my enjoyment of these foods easy!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
