Oh, I do hope Bob is right. So little to watch these days. They announce a new show, and it turns out to be just another "reality" show.
Boring! And in no way real.
No. People are starving for entertaining shows and quality movies on TV for the past couple of years. A common complaint is lamenting how the History Channel or others are not the same as they were a few years ago, it's mostly reality tv shows now.
The few I watch is to learn about a different culture (Homestead Alaska for example, very interesting how people prepare for a long winter and survive up there mostly isolated from the rest of the world for a long dark winter) and then there are the copy-cats, and many seem scripted with outlandish behaviors week after week.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
