Honestly, how annoying are these kids that want you to do their homework. Even if you try to help, they don't come back. Where are the parents?

My mom & dad used to help me with my homework, if I needed help. I bet these parents don't even know these kids are coming to, of all places, Askville. Asked by grandmabx 20 months ago Similar questions: Honestly annoying kids homework help back Family > Parenting.

Wrong programmed society I have the impression that they don’t need help from their parents to do their home work, but help to be raised the proper way. Most questions being asked could be easily looked up by spending a little bit of time on research and a bit of time to write it into their own words. But that could be one of the problems... Some might haven’t gotten a clue how to write things with their own words, (as they can’t copy the exact words from the internet) while others seem to be to lazy to take the time to do their own research.

You are absolutely right to ask WHERE their parents are as the parents are responsible in HOW they raise their kids...I got many friends who raise their kids of ’being lazy’. They let their kids spend their free time from school with computer games and TV instead and not even check if they did their home work or not. For my part- I just refuse to answer these questions on AV.

Unless there are difficult to answer, but this can be found out quite easily with a few ’clicks’ if needed... (Most ) Kids have become to lazy today and we shouldn't encourage that.

I figure a cry for help is a cry for help. I give the help I can. Complaining about their asking for help is not something I want to do.

Fact is, I had two parents, then one, and neither one--ever--was someone I could ask help from. My dad would have been more likely to give me a useful answer and he barely graduated from high school. My mom, being psychotic, would have made any answer useless even if she got the right one accidentally. So I figure if I had parents like that, who's saying someone else doesn't also?

I don't want to discourage someone from at least asking.

1 This is just a wild guess, grandmabx, but I think the person who asked about "candle" could be an adult, learning English as a second language. In general, though, this is another example of the problem we see here all the time: newbies don't know about, or don't notice, the DB that shows up below their question, so they don't see anything we post there. They only get email notification if an "official" answer is posted, so they don't come back because they don't think anything has been posted, even if they *have* noticed the DB.Sigh...If it seems like an urgent problem, I have been known to PM the newbie, to point out the DB, since they do get an email when someone sends a PM.

3 Yeah Cat, you could be right but a lot of these seem like homework questions to me and it's a shame that these kids think of an easy way out. That's how they see life, also. Easy way out.Do you know what I mean?

" "Can you help me with this accounting homework. " "Please help me with my math homework" "Do you think kids should have homework or not?" "algebra homework help please? " "Help with biology homework" "Help with more parenting drama please.

" "How do you deal with annoying sales people who come up to you and say "CAN I HELP YOU?"" "Homework help! " "political science homework help! :(.

Can you help me with this accounting homework.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
