Medicare is in much worse shape than Social Security. Personally, I think that one day when the currently younger generations are the majority, that they should look at the mess that their elders left them and simply say "NO". -- as in, no more payments will be made because the programs are hereby repealed.
The generations that voted in the liars who built these Ponzi schemes are the ones who should bear the burden when they inevitably collapse. The way you do that is to simply cancel them completely and stop the payments. After that, it's pay cash or sink.
The young generation are too busy watching The Jersey Shore and playing X-Box, so they just don't give a damn about the future of social security. They do not make plans that far into the future.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
