How big is a 10 gallon betta fish tank?

For your tank, bettas like to have plants that they can hide in and rest on the leaves, so get him a lot of plants like that. Also give him a few hiding places or caves to explore so he'll be entertained. But make sure he still has space to swim around.

There are these things called betta logs that float at the top and bettas can play on them. No, I wouldn't get a bubbler. Bettas do not like strong currents, they prefer still water.

Neon tetras are schooling fish so I would get 5 or 6. If you only had 3 they would probably get nervous. The person with the frog probably had an African dwarf frog.

Bettas natural habitats are rice paddies. Don't listen to anybody who says they live in puddles, because it's not true. Sometimes they would get caught in puddles, and then they'd die.

Bettas like to have the temperature around 72-82 degrees. Yes, heaters are needed. I have a 5 gallon tank and my heater isn't hard to deal with at all, you just set a temperature and it maintains it!

A good cleaning crew is shrimp! You can get like 5 or 6 and they'll clean the bottom of your tank. I'm not sure about avoiding fighting, but bettas like bloodworms.
