How can I download a credit-card-only account into Quicken 2008 for Windows via Direct Connect?

P_faqid=2601 (very similar link mentioned in the sites below. ) These end in the dreaded "...the best course of action is to work with your financial institution to resolve this error." Which by law, I think, should have included "and your financial institution will blame it on Quicken.

" The "Null" explanation, unfortunately, is a lot of geek speak. Some databases can't handle Null, they need to see "" or "0". Null is the equivalent of nothing, while "" and "0" are actually "something".

BUT, it's likely the truth.... So, here's an answer that may help... ------------- Save the downloaded transactions to a file (stmt. Qfx). Edit the file and look for tag(s) where is empty.

Enter a dummy name after if necessary. Import the edited . Qfx file.

While confusing, the method is to show you what tag has the offending issue. If you can find that line, that is the one to fix. You might want to post it here, along with a "good" example line, and people might be able to figure it out.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
