It should be a public record unless he is underage. You should be able to get this from the county court house at which he was sentenced. Call the district courts.
You can also talk to the county attorney or DA. You can also look online for public records. There are also sites that are called inmate locators, but I wouldn't use one if it cost money.
Many of the sites say they do not guarantee the accuracy of the information. If you can not find out, you can simply get the address from one of his family members surely. He should be able to write you within time, and you should be able to write him as well.
