Right now she sleeps with me in my bed and I don't want to keep doing this because I know the crib is the safest place for her. Also I don't want her to get used to sleeping in my bed at night. I have tried to put her in the crib when she is sleepy or asleep, but she always seems to wake up as soon as she's in there and start crying.
I let her cry for awhile and then take her out. I'm not sure if I'd want to let her 'cry it out' because she is still really young. Any ideas?

If you have even watched Nanny 911 or Super Nanny, you'd know the biggest problem is always the parents. Make sure everything is good, and let her cry herself to sleep, until she's used to it. You need to take control now and not wait until she's 12 :) Sources: opinion .
I would suggest standing by her, letting her know youre right there until she falls asleep. Having your baby in your bed isn't very safe, as there have been cases when a mother rolls over on her infant. I'm sure if you put her in her crib and let her know you're still there, she should be fine.
Also you are teaching the baby if she cries enough you'll take her out and she needs to be broken of that habit. Sources: Personal experience .
Everyone is giving you good advice: Swaddle her and put her in a bassinet beside your bed Everyone is giving you good advice: Swaddle her and put her in a bassinet beside your bed. Swaddler blankets are really nice, they make swaddling a breeze. Music helps my daughter, so she sleeps with my mp3 player on the nightstand next to her.
Always put her on her back to sleep, SIDS is most common between 2-4 months, and back sleeping is one of the best defenses we know of. I do not suggest you get one of those Snuggle beds, you aren't suppose to put anything fluffy in the crib or bassinet with your baby in case they roll over and can't roll back over.1 month ago 100% 1 Vote Report Abuse Is this what you are searching for? 1 You are giving in too early; you are spoiling her. The good news is that 7-week old kids are remarkably malleable and they can learn things quickly. Let her cry more.
Babies often cry themselves to sleep; that is perfectly normal. You will do no long term damage to her and you will be better off yourself.

2 My kids would wake up when they came in contact with the cold mattress. You could try "preheating" the mattress with a hot water bottle or a heating pad on low (and of course you remove these when you place the baby in there).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
